I have been an SES tutor for about 6 months now and I truly enjoy the experience. Meeting students of all different backgrounds and demographics allows me to better understand each individual which then helps me to prepare adequate and good lesson plans with the utmost efficiency. As a tutor, I believe tutors have the utmost responsibility to make learning practical and applicable to each and every student they prepare lesson plans for. Lesson plans that are able to be applied into the student's everyday lives not only makes learning fun but it develops a sense of confidence that I believe all students need in order to make positive progressions in their studies.
