Experience
To: Whom it may Concern, This letter is in response to the part-time or full time position. I am very excited about the position being available at your company because of my past experience as an Interim Site Director for A.M Winn Elementary. This job opportunity will enable me to make my contribution to your company and gain some experience as a Liberal Studies major CSU Sacramento. During my years at CSU Chico and CSU Sacramento, I have taken on many additional extracurricular responsibilities. As a sophomore, I served as the National Society of Black Engineers President for two years. In which I constructed various social events for the community and lead about 20 members. I was initiated into the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity where I was head of Treasure for the organization and was responsible for creating new ideas to bring in revenue. In my junior year, I was employed by Sacramento Start as an AmeriCorps member where I gained first-hand experience in community service organization skills at Martin Luther King Elementary. I also learn initial tools for youth development and team building. In my second term I was giving an opportunity to work as a full-time fitness coach who oversees the fitness education at Mark Hopkins Elementary. As I gain more trust from my supervisors I was given a chance to test all students in the California State Fitness gram. In my third year working in the company I was promoted as Team Lead at Frontier Elementary. I learned specific protocol about how to run a program from the ground up. Learned how to documented paperwork for the site such as attendance, behavior management, and staff meetings. Six months into the position I was promoted as Interim Site Director at A.M Winn Elementary where I gain personal experience of managing my own site and staff. This learning experience put in the front seat of leadership growth that I’ve been searching for since my first employment with the company. I currently work as a Teacher Assistant at the California Montessori Project- Capitol campus as I handle a large range of responsibilities such as teaching a large range of special education students individually or in small groups. The student’s ages range from first through eighth grade and I’m very adept at zoning in where a student is academically, emotionally, and behaviorally and meeting the child’s needs. My calm mannerism installs in the students a sense of peace and he is able to accomplish the work with the students. My past work experience and knowledge I gained as a Site Director and Special Education Teacher’s Assistant has given me a well-rounded background in the practical aspects of the after-school program, community growth and school involvement.
